NCM Team Takes on Adventure at Peebles Hydro

At NCM, we believe that team-building and collaboration go beyond the office walls. This year, our team had the pleasure of spending an exciting away day at the stunning Peebles Hydro, nestled in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The day was filled with a mix of exhilarating outdoor activities, moments of relaxation, and plenty of opportunities to strengthen our bonds.

We kicked off the day with a lively round of Glen’s Rodeo, an event that brought out both the competitive spirit and plenty of laughter. Following that, we enjoyed a well-deserved lunch, gearing up for what was next – a choice of activities that catered to everyone’s interests.

For the thrill-seekers, mountain biking at Glentress Forest was the perfect adrenaline rush. Others opted for a more relaxed pace, heading to the beautiful greens for a round of golf. Meanwhile, a few of us indulged in the 1881 Gin Distiller Experience, learning the art behind crafting the perfect gin.

As the sun began to set, we made our way back to Peebles Hydro, where we were warmly welcomed with a drink to kick off the evening where we gathered for a delightful dinner that gave everyone a chance to unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.

The night continued with a lively party, filled with music, dancing, and laughter, making it a perfect conclusion to an unforgettable day. This away day was not just about taking a break from work but about coming together as a team, sharing experiences and creating lasting memories.
