On the last weekend in June, 16 brave souls from NCM travelled north to Fort William to the foot of Ben Nevis with the aim of summiting to raise money for our chosen charity this year – The Muirhead Outreach Project.
Despite the weather, spirits were high as members of the NCM team ran the annual Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 26 May. With people signing up to raise money for charity, to challenge themselves or due to peer pressure from colleagues… the team were cheered on by support from the sideline and via the WhatsApp group.
After the success of the February Business Fives tournament held in Edinburgh in which NCM were narrowly beaten in the semi-finals, this automatically qualified them to compete in the national finals in Glasgow where all the best teams from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Tayside and Aberdeen battled it out to be crowned champions.
After the overwhelming success last year, the return of the Olympic Wii Sports Night was our last charity event of the year. As the night kicked off, the four teams came together in their designated team colours to compete against each other in a number of classic WII sport games.

NCM colleagues Douglas Graham and Sukhjit Dhaliwal attended the annual BVCA tax, legal and regulatory conference held at the stunning County Hall in London on 21 November.
The conference concentrated on topics with regards to the future planned and anticipated changes to the legal, tax, sustainability and regulatory environment for UK fund managers.
NCM Chief Executive, Kathleen McLeay, was delighted to attend the launch of the British Business Investment Fund for Scotland (IFS) in Glasgow on Thursday. The event was very well attended by a number of participants from a wide range of disciplines and everyone keen to learn more about the fund.
NCM were pleased to attend this year’s Depositary and Trustee Association (DATA) annual dinner, held at the very grand Drapers Hall in London.
