At the end of July, members of the NCM team spent the day volunteering at the Five Sisters Zoo, helping to support the fantastic work carried out by the charity. The visit provided a great opportunity to give back to the local community while learning more about the zoo’s history, mission and commitment to animal welfare and conservation globally.
On Sunday 17 May, NCM took on the challenge of “Everesting” Arthur’s Seat to raise money for our chosen charity, The Yard. Laughing in the face of forecasted rain, the team completed 50 summits, reaching a total elevation gain of over 8,849m.
We are delighted to announce that our charity of the year is The Yard, an award winning Scottish charity. The Yard provides safe, inclusive play spaces for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, as well as vital support for their families.
NCM’s recent charity fundraising Traitors Night proved to be a brilliantly executed blend of teamwork, suspense, strategic thinking and light-hearted sabotage — all in support of a fantastic cause. Inspired by the worldwide hit TV phenomenon The Traitors, the evening brought staff from across the organisation together for an immersive game of trust, deception and deduction, with the ultimate goal of raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society in support of Finlay and Ben’s ongoing fundraising efforts.
At NCM, we believe that team building goes beyond the typical workday – it’s about creating memories and strengthening relationships outside the office. This year our team had the pleasure of spending a fantastic day at Macdonald Houstoun House.
Another string to our bow – NCM has recently become registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider which will allow us to assist clients with the new Companies House requirements in relation to verification of Directors and people with significant control (PSCs).
On Saturday 6 September, a team of 11 gathered bright and breezy at Glasgow Queen Street station at 8:30am, ready to embark on the mighty Tour de Glasgow to Edinburgh — all in the name of raising funds for our wonderful charity this year, Alzheimer’s Society.

Last week, 10 of us from the Fund Services Finance team stepped away from our desks and into the sunshine for a day of volunteering with Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust (ELGT).
After the success of NCM reaching the Business Fives finals back in March, the team once again gave it their all on the pitch.
