Barr joined NCM in July 2022 and is a Director of Fund Services in the Jersey Office and is responsible for managing the accounting, administration and UK tax compliance requirements of our Private Equity and Real Estate clients. He currently sits on the board of Jersey Real Estate and other asset holding companies and has expertise in managing offshore structures investing in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining NCM, Barr was a Director at Alter Domus and was the Director of Corporate Services in the Jersey Office, where he was also registered as a Principal Person with the Jersey Financial Services Commission and sat on the board of Jersey Regulated Real Estate Funds. Before joining Alter Domus, he was a Director of J&S Accountants, based in Southampton and Salisbury, where he had responsibility for all the financial and management needs of a variety of local business clients including audit, accounts preparation and tax compliance. Barr trained and worked as an auditor for an accountancy practice based in Southampton.
Barr is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over 26 years’ experience in the accounting industry.
